"The Secret" BMX Shop
The Secret BMX Shop has been a secret for a long time and now its finally fully painted and almost ready for business. I'm really excited about this. Some of the dudes us fast pace kids ride with (although they strictly ride bmx) opened up a shop here in Temecula,CA. You will NOT find fuji or any other douche bag roadie accessories (LOLZZZZ) I will keep the site updated on when the grand opening will be, he will be carrying everything from FBM to Volume To Animal. The Shop is already looking top notch. check the art on the wall drawn by Gus Molina and painted by everyone that hangs out here.
this dudes name is Bryan...he has an FBM Sword lost in his garage but SHHH don't tell anyone (hahahaha)

Seattle's Finest Riding Fixed!
i caught this off zlog. this is amazing and ironic because gus and i were harassed pretty hard the other night by a cop who considered tire marks on a wall graffiti and told me to put my bike down because i was giving him attitude...I don't know i thought i gave up riding spots and getting rolled on by cops but truly that will never end haha, dave beard actually got some pictures of that and my hands behind my head. in the mean time check out jake ricker's flickr and be amused by these cops trying to ride fakie!

Philly in Pain
THIS IS TAKEN FROM TRICKTRACK.ORG PLEASE DO WHAT YOU CAN TO HELP. THIS SITUATION IS RIDICULOUS...
I'm not sure if any of you are aware of the bike situation in Philadelphia, but there are a lot of changes, and proposed changes in the works.
First, the proposed:
The city is proposing that all cyclists register their bicycles (a $20 fee). The registration would force all cyclists to have a visible proof of registration on their bicycles (license plate), and if any cyclists is caught without registration, its a $100 fine. The city is also proposing a number of changes to the fines for violating existing traffic laws. $300 for riding on the sidewalk(formerly $10); $300 for running a red light/stop sign(formerly around $120); $300 for wrong way on a one way street(formerly around $120); $300 for riding with headphones (fine currently $3). They are also proposing a fine for brakeless riders. The fine will be $1000 for riding brakeless, or confiscation.
Second, the current:
Starting today, the Philadelphia Police Department will be enforcing all existing traffic violations more strictly than they have been before. I've heard a number of accounts already of cyclists receiving tickets. One good point: police have been cracking down on motorists driving and double parking in the Spruce St and Pine St bike lanes and supposedly will be more often.
What to do:
"The Bicycle Coalition encourages you to write and call Councilman Kenney
(215) 686-3450, (215) 686-3451 and Councilman DiCicco (215) 686-3458, (215) 686-3459 directly and express your viewpoint about these bills."

Let The Polo Begin
Tonight we had our very first session of bike polo at the T.V. hockey rink in Temecula. hockey practice ended at 9 pm so we rushed out and even had a crowd watching us for a while. We used golf clubs and a mini soccer ball to play. it was Amazing! the players tonight included myself, Gus, Sami, Adam, Nick "Gnar Hesh", Sean, DJ, Bryan B., Dave Doom and Danny Boy. we switched up the teams once or twice. A few bumps a few bruises, a few teeth chipped...(sorry Adam), all in all everyone had fun and this will be a weekly event! Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures because i was to into the game, but i can guarantee the next game there will be pics up of our "ghetto" rounds of bike polo! Cheers to a great night!

San Diego Critical PASS
So this last Friday A few friends and I packed up the car and headed down to lovely San Diego for Critical PASS. We showed up pretty late, and we noticed that mass had already started, so we parked, put our bikes together and rode over to the fountain where the trick comp. had already started. it was a little awkward at first for us knowing only one person but, my good friend DJ Mull won the comp. and scored himself a 12 pack of Natural Light...that he shared with everyone :-D. There were a few races after that and i walked around and mingled a bit. met a lot of new people and honestly had a good time. We were pretty bummed we couldn't make it to ruby room considering only one of us was 21, so DJ said he would take us to some street spots around downtown for a few hours. I didn't get any pics of critical pass because i grabbed my camera too late :-/, but here are some pics i took of us riding some spots in downtown. SEE YOU NEXT MONTH!

Riding Satan's Rollercoaster...
For those who don't know there is a group of kids around the Temecula/Murrieta area that ride extremely hard and they (or we i should say?) call themselves "HEATHENS" or Heathen Bicycle Firm. We all know what it's like out here with the heat and hills everywhere, but that doesn't stop these kids from bombing hills in the de luz mountains that people are afraid to drive down or mashing through a busy intersection with a 75% chance of getting hit by a lifted truck, but it's all in good fun. It in no way, shape, or form is a "crew" that would get heated if anyone was to talk shit nor do they go to parties to drink and fight (to get that out of the way), They're just friends and they like to ride...that's it. Anyways these kids are fun to ride with they are also all my best friends. there will be a section on them in the upcoming issue as well. If you live in the Temecula/ Murrieta or even San Diego area and want to ride with us feel free to contact me at Rhetoricnoise@hotmail.com we ride everyday and love meeting new people.
